The Armitage Trust campaign is continuing to gain traction with merchant partners, with a constantly growing pipeline of projects.
First launched in October, the campaign highlights the benefits of working with Armitage Shanks, including specification support, quality products and a single point of contact every time.
The aim has been to continue to increase our business from quick turnaround projects worth under £10,000, with the Field Sales Team seeing successes nationwide.
Their rapid responses and support with specification in particular have drawn praise from merchants and end customers.
One example was a project with Durham County Council, a new customer who filled in our quick spec form after seeing the Armitage Trust social media campaign on LinkedIn.
Their message included drawings and a request for recommendations for merchants to price the project.
Having recently taken on the north east patch, Regional Business Development Manager Mustafa Rahman used the opportunity to reach out to new customers within the area.
He said: “After choosing Universal Plumbing Supplies and Wolseley, I swiftly sent over a specification for the merchants to price.
“Both merchants were thankful for the opportunity. However, Wolseley’s Key Account Manager Hassan Khan thanked me for the opportunity as they have been trying to work with Durham County Council for a long time and never had any success.
“They believe they can win them over with this project, thanks to our Armitage Trust campaign, and we should hopefully get more opportunities with Durham County Council too.”
