Adrian Maj is taking part in the London Marathon for the sixth year running and is appealing for sponsors to take him towards his fundraising target of £20,000 overall.
Armitage-based Adrian will again be supporting Nerve Tumours UK, a charity he chose because his niece has a potentially debilitating neurological condition called neurofibromatosis.
He has raised £16,500 over the five years he has run the marathon and is this year hoping to close in on the £20,000 milestone.

Adrian, a Senior Laboratory Technician, said: "Everyone has been very generous in sponsoring over the years and I’m so grateful to my family, friends and work colleagues for supporting me.
“Nerve Tumours UK is a charity which is close to my heart and I’m hoping colleagues will once again donate and help to fund the important work they are doing.”
