Training is playing a central role in supporting our Close The Gap initiative, helping colleagues and customers alike understand the breadth of our offer across all five channels.

Earlier this month, 30 merchant project customers attended an in-person training day at our Armitage pop-up space (pictured above and below).
The full-day event included a tour of the plant and distribution centre, giving attendees valuable insight into how our business operates.
The same training will be delivered to a wider external audience in October through group Teams sessions, with invitations going out to hundreds of customers.

Retail training covering the full Close The Gap portfolio is also scheduled for later this month, alongside specialist sessions on the Skyla range for external customers.
And focussed training on the Skyla range for external customers has already taken place in the summer, repeated internally with colleagues.

Training Manager Chris Pearson said: “We’ve had really good feedback on the training so far. Everyone took something away that they felt they would be able to use as a USP over other manufacturers when talking to customers.
“This kind of training brings the products to life and the two-way nature of the sessions means people can ask questions relating to their business and how our ranges might work for them.”
