Cross channel working is helping the business win market share by showing retailers how we can help them secure projects with developers.
In one example, colleagues from the retail and residential teams have impressed a developer enough to be in a strong position with an apartment project in Hexham, Northumberland.
The lead came through Matthew Charlton, an independent with five Atelier Collections and three Bathroom Collection displays and an existing relationship with Regional Retail Sales Manager Scott Taylor.
As the project in question – a town centre luxury living development of 49 apartments – is above what we class as the retail threshold of 10 plots, Scott passed it to Residential Specification Manager Kerry Jessop.
In response to an open brief, they worked together to create full specification options of “gold” in Atelier products and “silver” in Bathroom Collection products, with images created by Senior Designer Yiota Toumba and presented to the developers by Kerry and Scott.
Kerry said: “The meeting was very positive and the developer seemed very impressed with our product ranges and the various technologies we have within our portfolio.
“This project will be a great way to showcase our products and how we can work with more developers in the area as a team.”
Scott added: “It’s a great example of how the two channels can work together to create additional business opportunities and strengthen new partnerships.
“The two channels will be working closely together going forward to maximise the opportunities and gain more share of the market.”
Regional Sales Manager Jamie Maguire said: “This is a great example of cross functional working between Kerry and Scott.
"Some of the retailers Scott and his team are targeting will get involved in the contracts market and hold relationships with key residential developers that the specification team have identified as targets.
“So cross functional working on opportunities like this is crucial. It gives us a chance to demonstrate to the retailer our capabilities and performance with handling large projects and also gives the retail team more leverage when telling our brand story.
"Credit to Kerry and Scott on their great work here”
