Long term continued relationships have seen the Ireland Team take share and secure almost full specification with the UK’s first NYX Hotel in Edinburgh, a £32 million development from international group Fattal.
The new 131-room hotel in the capital’s Jeffrey Street will be a massive boost and an iconic statement in Edinburgh.
The project has seen us take share from Vitra with our ProSys frames and Oleas plate, also from Kohler with our i.life B wall hung WC and Contour 21 undercounter ceramics. We also secured the full specification on all accessible rooms with ProSys and Contour 21 products. The value received to date for all rooms is £55,000, with a further £18,000 to come for the front of house elements of the project.
Edgewater Contracts has led the build and fit-out process, with Grove Mechanical Services championing our products over the competitors, alongside our key trading partner Beggs & Partners, who also helped us to secure this project.
The hotel extension and refurbishment has resulted in a new 131-room hotel and will also see another full refurbishment using the same product to its sister company Jurys Inn across the road.
The win was secured by Channel Director Gerard Crane thanks to the relationship with Garuda Design, Belfast, who manage the hotel chain’s control document, alongside the lifelong relationships with Grove Mechanical, Edgewater Contracts and Beggs & Partners.
Gerard said: “This project is the result of continuous graft and hard work, plugging our brand and being in front of the decision makers, time and time again, project after project.
“We have also been supported by our key trading partners who offer their service and expertise in supply whilst liaising internally via Salesforce to ensure all parties in their regions are kept informed of the process, especially Ash Burtoff as this is his field.”
