A sustained and patient approach has helped the Residential Specification Team secure a major new project with Yorkshire Choice Homes, a growing developer with an increasingly strong presence across the region.
The Millside Lakes development in Askern, Doncaster, will feature 191 homes delivered over three phases, with a total estimated value to the business of over £200,000 across two years.
Residential Specification Manager Mustafa Rahman first identified Yorkshire Choice Homes as a potential customer almost two years ago.
Despite an initial proposal in 2023 that went to a competitor, he maintained regular contact with the business.
When the company underwent a change in structure and management, the opportunity arose to reintroduce our brands and products, and this time, persistence paid off.
“By staying in touch and continuing to build the relationship, we were ready when the right opportunity came along,” said Mustafa.
“The new team at Yorkshire Choice Homes were keen to explore what we could offer, and they were really impressed by the quality and depth of our portfolio across Villeroy & Boch, Ideal Standard and Armitage Shanks.”
Yorkshire Choice Homes chose i.life S sanitaryware, i.life A baths and Ceraplan brassware from Ideal Standard as the core specification, with upgrade options including i.life S WC units, i.life A floor-standing vanity units, silk black brassware and showering solutions.
Mustafa added: “I’d like to thank everyone who has been involved in this project – from our merchant partners and internal team to the designers and my manager – for their support and contribution throughout.
“The hard work starts now with delivering the products and making sure we’ve got the stock ready.”
