A taking share win will see £150,000-worth of Armitage Shanks products installed in a new Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) building in the North East.
Work is under way to create what is a second major Government building in Newcastle city centre, which is set to become home to hundreds of workers.

Construction teams are now working on the creation of Pilgrim Place 1 + 2 – new multimillion-pound office buildings set close to Bank House in Pilgrim Street.
Property agents have announced that a major pre-letting deal has been struck with DWP, which will take over Pilgrim Place 1 to create a DWP Service and Support Centre, which is planned to open in 2027.
The main contractor is Bowmer & Kirkland Construction, with M&E contractor Derry Building Services taking care of the washroom installations.

Key Account Manager Liam Ansell said: “It’s great to win the specification on what is a major project for Newcastle city centre.
“Natalie Skinner was instrumental with securing this taking share win from our competitor Dolphin, which was originally on the plans.”

Products include Concept sanitaryware, ProSys in-wall frames, Sensorflow brassware and stainless steel Doc M packs.
