Our Atelier Collections products have secured the bathroom specification for an exclusive new development by Homes by Esh, the private housing arm of the Esh Group.
Located in the sought-after area of Blackwell, Darlington, Havelock Park will feature 44 executive homes with sales values ranging from £700,000 to £1 million.

The developer, a loyal Ideal Standard customer in the North East, has traditionally specified our i.life ranges for their standard house types. But with Havelock Park aimed at the upper end of the market, Homes by Esh required a more premium bathroom offer.
Working closely with the client over several years, North East Regional Specification Manager Kerry Jessop guided them through the journey of upgrading to our Atelier Collections.

She said: “The relationship-building process included a visit to our London Design & Specification Centre, where their sales director and design manager saw for themselves how our Ipalyss and Conca ranges could help deliver their aspirations.
“The final specification – which has been tailored to seven house types – includes Ipalyss basins, Conca wall-mounted WCs and furniture, Prosys in-wall frames, Ultraflat shower trays, i.life shower enclosures and the Dea freestanding bath.
“This project goes to show how our Atelier Collections can win in the high-end residential sector, and obviously we now have Villeroy & Boch products to offer beyond that too.”

Each home features multiple bathrooms, with the “Nightingale” house type alone incorporating three bathrooms and a cloakroom.
Initial CAD drawings were produced by Senior Designer Yiota Toumba and later finalised by Showroom Design Manager Charlie Williams.

Work on site is progressing well, with 13 of 17 plots expected to be completed this year sold in the first six months.
The average bathroom specification per plot is valued at around £6,000, bringing the total value of the project to approximately £260,000.
