A high end hospitality pod manufacturer is opening up a new avenue for the business as we begin working with Armadilla.
Based outside Edinburgh, this is a specialist in premium modular hospitality pods designed to deliver outstanding guest experiences in almost any location.
The company operates in a niche but fast-evolving space, creating flexible, design-led accommodation aimed at 4- and 5-star operators.
Specification Manager Darron Brown has been working on securing an opening with Armadilla for some time.
He said: ““Armadilla is a completely new type of customer for us, specialising in luxury accommodation pods.
“We’ve set up some initial special pricing around two small projects they’re currently working on to show them the benefits of working with us.”
The first order has now been placed, with a second expected in the coming weeks, representing both new business and share gain.
Both are using Ideal Standard Tesi and Extra products, including Tesi pans specified in both the black and white colour schemes, reflecting the premium, design-conscious nature of their pods.
“Initial feedback has been very promising,” Darron added. “The plan is to evolve the relationship, moving towards Villeroy & Boch for larger, top-end pods, while continuing to position Ideal Standard for the smaller, smart premium units.”
