Tell us a bit about yourself
I live in Kill, Co Kildare, Ireland, and have been with Ideal Standard since Oct 2016. When not doing the day job I am a football coach of Kill Celtic FC in Leinster Football League with back to back League titles the last two years. I’m also a big Liverpool fan as well (YNWA) as well a big music fan… anything from Sinatra and Bowie to Dua Lipa.
Describe your job to a five-year-old
I make and sell toilets.
What do you like most about your job?
Daily interaction with existing and new customers plus the success of winning a lot of projects (cradle to grave effect).
How did you get here?
Along time ago i was a screen printer by trade but opportunities were very short back in the late eighties so I fell into the plumbing and heating game. I have about 30 years experience in this field and was a long time employee of Hevac Group which were only recently bought out by Wolseley Group.
What motivates you?
Try every day to be the best I can. Keep Smiling.
If you could swap jobs with anyone, who would it be?
Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool FC Manager). Definitely not the Manchester United manager.

Biggest facepalm moment at work
Frank Spencer moment setting off the fire alarm with the toaster in the office in Citywest. When the rest of office staff in other offices were standing outside the building wondering where the fire was, I was just waiting on the toast.
