Tell us a bit about yourself
I am 34 years old and happily married to my wife, who I met at 14 years old whilst still at school. We have a 13-year-old son and a 9-year-old daughter, both born on the same day but 4 years apart!

I train in different martial arts but mostly love spending time with my family, boxing with my son, learning songs and routines with my daughter, learning gymnastics with my nieces, and hunting for creepy crawlies with my daughter and nephew.

What do you like most about your job?
The team I work with. Not just in the south but throughout the company. Everyone is always happy, helpful and supportive.

How did you get here?
I had always worked in construction or security but wanted to work in a sales role. Unfortunately, my CV didn’t look very “salesy”. A recruiter I know managed to get me a last-minute interview for a job as a BDM with a health food company and she deliberately held back my CV until after the interview and I got the job.

What motivates you?
My family.

If you could swap jobs with anyone, who would it be?
Joe Rogan on his podcast and commentary.

Your favourite song lyric or line from a film
Captain America in the final fight of Endgame.

“AVENGERS!…assemble”.

Your favourite app?
UFC Fightpass.

Biggest facepalm moment at work?
Working in security for Debenhams my colleague told me a shoplifter had just left and gave me a description. As I left the store I repeated the description over the radio to my colleague, of the woman in front of me. He confirmed so I stopped her and asked her to come back to the store with me. Two police officers happened to be passing and joined me as we marched the “shoplifter” back to the store where I was told, “she matches the description, but you’ve stopped the wrong person”.
