Tell us a bit about yourself
I’m Henry, a 36-year-old aficionado of life’s brilliant tapestry. I’m a passionate enthusiast when it comes to music, movies and stand-up comedy and video games. When I’m not immersed in the world of work, I find joy in the camaraderie of friends, acquaintances and strangers over drinks. I keep fit by gracefully navigating the basketball court and honing my tennis skills. I’ll honestly admit, the culinary realm remains a challenge for me and I can’t cook to save my life.
While I currently don’t have furry companion, my heart is set on welcoming a canine friend into my life when I am financially capable to provide the love and care a dog deserves.
Describe your job to a five-year-old
I write fancy words to convince people to buy toilets.
What do you like most about your job?
The support I get from the marketing team and a lot of colleagues in the business.
How did you get here?
I started my career in the entertainment industry, crafting music, videography and organizing events. I transitioned into the chamber of commerce, developing platforms for businesses to expand their market share. From there I delved into full-time events management and later joined the Middle East’s leading payments company as a Senior Marketing Executive. Then I moved to Bristol to work as a technical producer for virtual events. Returning to marketing with Ideal Standard feels like a home coming to me, aligning with both my passion and career trajectory.
What motivates you?
The desire to make a difference in every little way.
If you could swap jobs with anyone, who would it be?
Not sure I’ve ever considered that to be fair
