Tell us a bit about yourself
I love variety – in work and in life. Outside work I’m usually planning my next adventure (from Bali beaches to trekking through Peru), growing my own fruit and veggies (and a new appreciation for weeding and blisters) or hanging upside down at a pole class.

Describe your job to a five-year-old
I make sure shops are happy places, where people can find what they need, and the team has the skills they need to help them. Basically, I’m the person who keeps things running smoothly, like the pilot on a plane, but without the travel perks.

What do you like most about your job?
The people. Building strong teams, helping them grow and celebrating success together.

How did you get here?
I started on the shopfloor, learned everything I could, said “yes” to every single opportunity that came my way, and worked my way up – with plenty of detours and lessons on the way, not unlike a good travel itinerary

What motivates you?
Seeing ideas turn into results, supporting people to achieve their best, and the satisfaction of solving problems.

If you could swap jobs with anyone, who would it be?
A travel writer – exploring the world and calling it work sounds pretty good to me

Your favourite song lyric or line from a film
“Club Tropicana, drinks are free, fun and sunshine, there’s enough for everyone” – from Club Tropicana by Wham – because it’s pure, care-free joy, capturing the feeling of letting go and enjoying the moment. Plus, who doesn’t love a bit of Wham!!

Your favourite app?
Google Maps. It keeps me on track whether I’m heading to a meeting, finding a yoga studio in Nicaragua or hunting for a tapas bar in Barcelona.

Biggest facepalm moment at work?
During a big Teams meeting, my cat decided it was her moment to shine – jumping on my keyboard and presenting herself as the new project lead.
