TV presenter and architect George Clarke has been talking about his life and work at our London Design & Specification Centre this week as part of a partnership with Ideal Standard.
The Amazing Spaces star answered questions from some of the industry’s leading journalists after giving a talk on what sparked his passion for the built environment and how it led to television work.
Topics included his thoughts on what the bathrooms sector needs to focus on and how his design principles link with Ideal Standard’s.
His appearance was part of an agreement which also includes Ideal Standard products going into his home renovation project (below).
Trade Marketing Specialist Jenny Wilson Smith said: “We were thrilled to welcome George into the LDSC this week, along with 15 key journalists.
“George spoke about his past and current work, along with his recent home renovation, focusing on his bathrooms and use of products from our Atelier Collections. It also gave us the opportunity to showcase the LDSC and our latest products to the consumer media.”
She added: “George has been a delight to work with. He will be sharing further images of his bathrooms on his own Instagram account, with a planned article later in the year.”
The relationship with George began when he was given a tour of the Armitage plant as part of the filming for his show Remarkable Renovations in September 2022. He then bought a renovation property last year and made contact with us to supply his bathrooms.
