Ideal Standard has this week exhibited at the two-day hotel interiors show HIX 2024 at the London Business Design Centre.
Presenting two of the latest additions in our Atelier Collections at what is considered Europe’s leading hotel design event, we showcased a fusion of style, sustainability and cutting-edge design.
Firstly, our stand featured our La Dolce Vita collection, exhibiting the stunning 126cm asymmetric washbasin, basin mixers and freestanding bath, along with the free-standing bath and shower mixer.
This stunning design was well received by stand attendees who appreciated the clean lines and organic shapes that capture the essence of the Italian lifestyle.
Our new Solos collection was the second star of the show, showcasing the shower systems, unique basin and integrated mixer, alongside the range of Solos basin mixers. Showing the basin and integrated mixer allowed us to pay homage to Ideal Standard’s legacy and demonstrate how we utilise its expertise in modern manufacturing techniques.
The showering systems were very well received, proving they would be a great addition to any hospitality setting that aimed to create a true spa-like experience.
With our recent integration, Ideal Standard also had the opportunity to display product outside the Villeroy & Boch showroom in the Business Design Centre in Islington.
Marketing Executive Kelly Beazer said: “This was our third year exhibiting at HIX. We always get a lot of visitors to our stand at this event but this year we had more than ever, including more interactions with designers, who are important gatekeepers to success in this sector.
“We had excellent interest and gained some great contacts and leads that we will follow up in the coming weeks.”
She added: “The new collections were well received, and some great conversations were had between key players in this sector and Ideal Standard staff.
“It was also a great opportunity for the Ideal Standard team to network with V&B and also to talk about the acquisition with stand attendees.
“I want to thank everyone involved for making this a successful event.”
