An illustration workshop attracted architects from some of London’s leading practices to our Clerkenwell showroom.
The event was organised by expert architectural illustrator and designer Philip Buckingham who described our London Design and Specification Centre (LDSC) as “the perfect showroom for a drawing class!”
Co-organised by our Head of Specification Jason Cadman, it saw the delivery of an exclusive session to a select group of 23 architects and designers.
LDSC host Silvia Antunano said: “The workshop Draw Like An Architect allowed us to connect once again with the architecture and design community in Clerkenwell.
“It brought the creatives to our showroom for an interactive workshop, where they learned the hand-drawing techniques from scratch and got inspiration on our beautiful displays to create amazing images.”
The class was well received by participants who were challenged to create “My Ideal Bathroom”, exploring the LDSC showroom displays to help with their creation.
Jason said: “We were delighted to host an architectural drawing session in our Clerkenwell showroom last week, with a creative group of architects and interior designers bringing their ideal bathroom to life on paper.
“The session provided a unique opportunity to learn drawing techniques and express individual design ideas, whilst gaining inspiration from the timeless bathroom pieces we have in our showroom!
“Thank you to everyone who attended for a lovely evening.”
