Ideal Standard UK’s excellent safety record has earned praise from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
The company has received the Order of Distinction for the fifth time after meeting RoSPA’s high standards of health and safety performance for the 19th consecutive year.
Organisations receiving a RoSPA Award are recognised as being world-leaders in health and safety practice.
Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants aim to achieve the highest possible accolade in what is the UK’s longest-running health and safety industry awards.

Health and Safety Business Partner Marie Long: “It’s an outstanding achievement for Ideal Standard to meet RoSPA’s high standards for safety in the workplace for the 19th year in a row.
“This has been very much a team effort and I’d like to thank everyone who has contributed by carrying out essential tasks, such as in-house trainers, those that look after essential RPE/PPE, first aiders, the fire team, safety advocates and for the support and resource provided by our facilities team.
"Thanks also to everyone who works within the facility, as we all have a role to play in safety.
“Every chain is as strong as its weakest link, so no matter who you are, or what position you hold, thank you, for contributing to not only your own, but everyone else’s safety.
“Our people are incredibly important to us and we strongly believe that all colleagues should be and feel safe while they are working.”

The RoSPA awards scheme is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas.
Each year, Ideal Standard UK provides a detailed submission which addresses questions across our occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement. The awards are now in their 66th year.
