Colleagues are being reminded to keep September 14th free for a picnic and walk at picturesque Clumber Park, near Worksop in Nottinghamshire.
The beautiful National Trust property is 70 miles from Hull and 66 miles from Armitage, and is made up of 3,800 acres of parkland, farmland and woods.
Although the mansion was demolished in 1938, many original Clumber Park estate features can still be seen, including the Victorian chapel, a Gothic Revival ‘mini-cathedral’, stable yard and garages and ornate entrance lodges.
The walk has been organised by our Wellbeing Committee as an opportunity for colleagues to get together outside of work and enjoy a relaxing stroll in the fresh, country air.
Operations Accountant Rachel Parrott said: “We’re looking forward to getting together at Clumber Park, which is the perfect location for a walk and picnic.
“The estate looks absolutely beautiful so we’re looking forward to meeting colleagues, their families and their dogs, who are all welcome to come along.
“If you are unable to attend this event, please be aware that there are future plans to arrange more walks closer to some of our site locations.”
If you would like to come, please email wellbeing@idealstandard.com so organisers can get an idea of numbers and arrange parking.
