The first episode of the Together World Tour has been hailed as a major success after attracting viewers from different industries across the globe.
People from the worlds of architecture, design, media and more tuned in live to watch Ideal Standard CEO Torsten Türling visit Milan, home of the group company’s international design centre.
In the 25-minute film, Torsten discussed the city’s design culture and heritage with Chief Design Officer Roberto Palomba, Marco Sammicheli from Triennale Museum and Fausto Carucci from Habibath.
Torsten and Roberto also visited the iconic Pirelli Tower which was designed by the legendary Gio Ponti, who also created products for Ideal Standard, before unveiling the new Linda-X range, part of the Atelier Collections.
Torsten said: “The first event resonated well as much with the external as with the internal audience. We could not have hoped for more.
“Together, we set a new benchmark in our industry and presented our company like never before. It was creative and of top notch professional quality.”
One of the viewers was Martin Allen-Smith, editor of Designer magazine. He said: “What can I say other than wow!
“A really, really superb virtual event, congratulations. I’ve seen a lot of such events over the past few months but this was very much top of the tree by some distance.
“Congratulations again to Ideal Standard on a great presentation.”
