A project to improve hygiene at Chelsea FC’s Stamford Bridge stadium by replacing all 500 taps with touch-free models is now complete.
The club wanted to change the taps in the stadium to sensor products because of COVID-19, making it safer for fans when they reopened.
Our Sensorflow 21 spouts were selected because they needed a fitting that could be programmed with a duty flush to manage the risk of legionella.
Steve Parker, Field Sales Manager – Non Residential, said: “There was no power supply in any of the washrooms so they also needed a tap that was battery operated.
“Various competitors were considered but because our tap had the features they required and we had a close relationship with the contractor we secured the order. The work was carried out over a period of two months.”
