Head of Product and Specification Marketing Leanne Martin impressed a national audience of installers in her recent talk about the post-COVID washroom.
Leanne discussed her predictions for how COVID-19 will change washrooms and gave an overview of Armitage Shanks’ history in infection control products.
She also talked about our role in the Nightingale Hospitals and discussed infection control products for today’s and tomorrow’s washrooms before demonstrating her in-depth technical knowledge during a challenging question and answer session.
Part of Wolseley LIVE – a virtual gathering powered by Installer – the free webinar can be watched on replay here, for anyone who was unable to watch live.

Ideal Standard colleagues who were watching said the talk demonstated our expertise in hygiene and infection control, and in-depth technical knowledge.
Key Account Manager Dean Annetts said: "I found it very interesting, given the times we are currently in, to hear about how Ideal Standard are not only pushing the sector in regards to hygiene, but actually leading the way in terms of infection control and ensuring that our products are fit for the ‘new world’.
"These are obviously key messages for our customers and their customers and it was good to learn that we are at the forefront of managing this through innovation and a strong brand trust as we have been over the past 200 years.
"With the IT issues and difficult questions that Leanne faced, I also though she presented extremely well and offered a fantastic depth of technical knowledge that helped to prove the expertise that we can bring to this arena as a brand."

Wolseley LIVE was a four-day virtual event featuring lively discussions and informative technical and product sessions with some of the industry’s leading players.
It was promoted by Installer, the organisation behind the Installer Show, the annual heating and plumbing event at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, which was cancelled because of COVID-19 in 2020.
