Our first foray into homeware e-commerce has seen Ideal Standard products ready to go live on Wayfair, one of the world’s largest online retailers.
Wayfair has a global turnover of more than $9bn and 20m active customers, with a focus on the US, UK, Canada and Germany.
So far, Ideal Standard and Armitage Shanks products have only been available online through trades and DIY websites like Screwfix and B&Q or e-tailers like Amazon and VictoriaPlum.com.
Wayfair is the first dedicated homeware seller we have partnered with, offering a core selection of products including brassware, toilets and furniture from the Tempo, Tesi and Concept Air ranges, all delivered to the customer’s home by Wayfair,

Olivia Maycock, Marketing Manager – B2C, said: “We felt the time was right to offer our products through Wayfair because our experiences with VictoriaPlum.com and Amazon showed us we could change our ways of working to meet their needs.
“This is another opportunity to increase our online presence in a different space and Wayfair’s huge growth of over 60% over the past year made this an obvious choice for us.”

Ideal Standard products are now ready to go live in the new year thanks to a huge effort from Georgia Barker-Wright and James Bakewell who sourced product imagery, wrote marketing copy, researched product data and generally went above and beyond to meet Wayfair’s requirements.
Feedback from the Wayfair buyer was that she was very impressed with the level of detail and imagery provided.
The next steps will see an Ideal Standard brand page and more products added, and changes to pallet logistics enabling full suites to be shipped.
