The latest edition of the Looking Deeper journal, which is produced by Armitage Shanks, is now available.
Edition five features articles on risk assessing basins and taps, water hygiene training for ‘responsible persons’, hospital hand wash basin usage and the use of the colour red in inclusive design.
Copies of the edition are being circulated in the respected Health Estate Journal, the official publication of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management.
They will also be sent to a list of subscribers and are available from Armitage mailing and the Hull and Armitage receptions.

“Looking Deeper is now over a year old and it is helping to support the position of Armitage Shanks as a forward-thinking market leader in healthcare washrooms,” said Tony Rheinberg, Senior Sector Marketing Manager.
“Alongside the Masterclasses we have held with Pall Medical and our Round Table events, it demonstrates that we are leading the conversation on infection prevention in hospital ceramics and fittings.”

Also included in this edition of Looking Deeper is the Back to Basics supplement, which focuses on Pseudomonas aeruginosa – a dangerous pathogen found around taps, basins and showers and highlighted by the World Health Organisation in its list of 12 antibiotic-resistant “priority pathogens”.
