Zoe Devitt has become one of the most highly qualified colleagues in her field within the group business by completing a demanding quality assurance qualification.
Zoe worked evenings and weekends and completed 37 separate assignments to achieve the British Standards Institute (BSI) Quality Management Systems Diploma ISO 9000 and 9001:2015.
Units included operational planning and control, product and service provision, and auditing, management review and improvement.

The qualification adds to Zoe’s credentials as quality assurance lead for the bath plant in Hull and chain of custody lead for wood materials for Ideal Standard International.
It also supports her work as someone who audits quality assurance processes in teams in other parts of the business in order to help them improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Zoe said: “There was a lot of work involved – I worked evenings and weekends for 18 months – but it was definitely worth it.
“The feeling I had when I got the email to tell me I’d passed was fantastic. It’s a sense of achievement obviously but it also means that in future I could possibly go on to a degree.”

The qualification now stands alongside Zoe’s BSI Transition to ISO 9001:2015 and BSI QMS Lead Auditor qualifications.
