The exciting first ranges born of Ideal Standard International’s partnership with Palomba Serafini Associati were revealed this week at the ISH international trade fair in Frankfurt.
The new Conca range, a modern interpretation of the original 1970s products created by master designer Paolo Tilche, took centre stage as group CEO Torsten Türling (below) announced to 50 international journalists our intention to once again become the leader in bathroom design.

Torsten He said: “Ideal Standard always has been a design brand, with deep rooted skills and a rich heritage. Having been raised by the master designers of the past and representing Italian design in all its aspects around the world, we could think of no-one better than Ludovica and Roberto Palomba to explore this heritage and translate it into the 21st Century.”

Palomba The unveiling of the Conca range, which also features a stunning free-standing bath, was complemented by two new brassware releases, the cylindrical Joy and the exceptionally flat basin mixer Check.
A stylish new colour palette developed by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba (above) for ceramics and brassware was revealed and the enhanced colour versions of the Ipalyss (Ellero by Sottini in the UK – top image) basin range were also on show.

Urinals Other prominent product announcements at ISH 2019, which attracted an estimated 200,000 visitors, included the Prosys pre-wall installation system, which fills an important gap in our washrooms offer.
The innovative Navigo personalised shower platform was also demonstrated, as was the Intellimix touch-free, soap integrated sensor tap and the mobile-enabled Sphero anti-splash urinal (above).

Stand The stand at ISH was supported by colleagues from across the group business, with a number of UK colleagues making the trip to talk to ISH delegates and trade press.
UK Marketing Director Katie Cope said: “This year’s ISH has been a tremendous success for the company as a whole and also for the UK business.
“There was a real buzz about the ranges that were on show at our stand and we unveiled some product that we know will play well in our markets.”
