The trade team took advantage of the opportunity to showcase our products to more than 300 CPS employees at the first Bathroom Showroom Summit in more than six years.
Held at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham, the event brought together all 293 CPS showroom managers, plus regional and central teams.
The aim of the conference is to allow the teams to interact with suppliers who had stands to showcase the product they have within the CPS bathroom showroom portfolio.

With support from Kelly Beazer and Tom Nash in marketing, Liam Pryszlak, Andrew Long and Alex Hooley from the trade team displayed a number of products not normally displayed at CPS.
This included i.life B in gloss grey and the i.life S corner toilet, as well as our most popular product within the showroom, Alu+ showering.

Having recently taken on the role of National Sales Manager, Liam had the opportunity to present twice on the day to the large hall (pictured below), each time in front of 150 people.
His talk was based around the theme of “Reaching the Summit”, talking through the challenges we have faced and how we are going to get to the summit together as a merchant and supplier.

He said: “It was an amazing opportunity to present in front of all the CPS showroom managers from across the UK, to talk through all the hard work we have put in over the past three years to improve our proposition and give the showroom managers the confidence in selling our product.
“It was a little nerve-wracking presenting in front of such a large audience but I think we did a great job on the day!’’

The event was also an opportunity for Liam to welcome Andrew into his previous role of National Account Manager and leave CPS in his capable hands.

Andrew said: “Although it was only my second week with the business, it was a great opportunity to engage with almost 300 showroom managers as well as a number of key people from the CPS category and leadership teams.
“The feedback from the CPS teams was overwhelmingly positive. It’s clear we have a great opportunity within the CPS showroom space.”

Kelly highlighted the work that had gone into ensuring our attendance at the event was a success, with a display that was both appealing and engaging.
She added: “We had a really great day speaking to as many CPS teams as possible and the conversations we had were really insightful.
“It allowed us to come away with next steps on how to capitalise even further on the great work the trade team have already done. It was also a great opportunity to meet Andy and welcome him to the Ideal Standard family.”
