The joint strength of the Villeroy & Boch and Ideal Standard brands has won through in securing a full competitor specification with a Midlands-based developer.
Elevate Property Group are a builder based in Birmingham who construct around 150 high rise units a year.
They had previously used Duravit for their gold specification and own brand products from bathroom retailer and merchant CP Hart for the silver and bronze levels.
Prospecting work enabled Key Account Manager Jeremy Wilmot to source the opportunity to propose a full competitor specification against the established product line-up.
This features Ideal Standard i.life A ceramics, i.life S furniture, Ceratherm T100 showers and Ceraplan brassware for the bronze and silver specification and Villeroy & Boch O Novo ceramics and brassware and Architectura furniture for the gold specification, with Ideal Standard completing the specification with shower enclosures and trays, steel baths and mirrors.
The proposition was strengthened by arranging for Elevate to see our pop-up exhibition at Armitage and enjoy a factory tour, as well as visiting the Villeroy & Boch showroom in London.
Regional Sales Manager Tom Ball said: “This is a perfect example of a synergy opportunity, where the two brands are working together to win a full specification.
“Without Villeroy & Boch, we wouldn’t have won the gold spec, and without Ideal Standard, we wouldn’t have won the silver and bronze spec, and some of the ancillary items on the gold spec too.”
Tom added: “From our perpsective, we have cleaned up with a full spec because of the breadth, depth and quality of our ranges.
“For the developer, they are dealing with one manufacturer for everything, and they will see the benefits of our Singular philosophy by having one point of contact for everything they need.”
The deal with Elevate is expected to be worth around £175,000 to £200,000 annually to the business and is first being used in the 58-unit St Paul’s Square development in Birmingham (pictured above).
However, as an added bonus, winning the Elevate specification has also opened up the opportunity to work with CP Hart to provide Ideal Standard products to them.
