Our London Design and Specification Centre (LDSC) has joined with other Clerkenwell showrooms to help create a buzz in the architecture and design community.
Taking part in the “Showroom Hop”, along with the nearby Formica and Alea Furniture venues, the architects and designers were invited to come along and find out more about the three companies.

The idea of the event is that each showroom invites eight clients from the A&D community so they can get to know a bit more about each showroom in an informal way and chat with fellow professionals over a variety of food and drinks.
They started at the Formica showroom for canapes and bubbles before heading to the LDSC for the “main” finger food and drinks, and then to Alea Furniture for dessert.
The idea of the Showroom Hop is that guests pay a relatively brief visit to each showroom, with a short presentation by each company, and everything is wrapped up by 8.45pm.

LDSC Host Silvia Antunano said: “The benefit for the A&D community is that they get to go to three top brand showrooms in an evening, instead of going to one for the entire evening.
“It’s a great use of their time and they get to leave relatively early, having had three different experiences along with food and drinks.
“They have expanded their knowledge base, made contacts, been inspired and have had fun along the way.”

She added: “On this occasion, we did a brief introduction to the new IntelliSense flushing technology that reduces water usage and costs whilst improving the user experience too, and our guests left the showroom very impressed.
“It was a great team effort between different showrooms to make this event so successful and memorable.
“This was the seventh hop and the most successful so far, with more than 32 in attendance, a mix of architects, interior designers and project managers.”
