The contemporary design of our Sensorflow taps has helped Ideal Standard take share from an established competitor with a major motor manufacturer.
In line with our group-wide drive to increase category share, the latest products in our commercial brassware offering are supporting our efforts to compete.
The taking share with at Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Solihill follows Trade Regional Account Manager Jonny Baig inviting Specification Manager Kyle Davies to attend his meeting with the independent plumbing merchant Edwin Fryer in Coventry.

Ideal Standard was given the opportunity to quote against a Bristan specification for a new build hall project, which resulted in a substantial order of Sensorflow 21 taps.
Following on from this initial success, once again working closely with Edwin Fryer and STM Plumbing on phase two of the JLR Solihull project, we again switched the Bristan specification to our Sensorflow 21 taps, with another, larger order now placed.

Kyle said: “The sleek design of the Sensorflows partnered with the Armitage Shanks name was a big plus compared to the design of the Bristans, and was definitely preferred by the client.
“With products like Sensorflow 21 and especially with our newer Sensorflow E offering, we’re in good shape to compete in the marketplace against manufacturers that currently have a larger market share.”
