The latest in a series of school projects in Scotland has led to a major project win – with more in the pipeline.
Dunfermline Super School Campus is bringing together two high schools onto one site in the central Scotland city, led by main contractor BAM with installers FES.
We are supplying Contour toilets, Edit troughs, Sensorflow 21 taps and other products to the value of £186,000.
It follows the completion of Madras College in St Andrews in 2021, another project win for Ideal Standard which involved working with the same companies.
Specification Manager Grant Massie said: “This shows the importance of doing a great job across the whole Ideal Standard team when it comes to providing top quality products, delivered to site on time and at a fair price.
“Dunfermline Super School Campus is a massive project in itself but we are now working on the specification for the adjacent new college campus, as well as half a dozen more major education projects in Scotland, so there’s a high value pipeline there to be won.”
Both Madras College and Dunfermline Super School Campus were projects awarded through the procurement framework hub East Central Scotland.
There are “hub” frameworks in each of five territories in Scotland. These are public-private partnerships which aim to deliver value-for-money facilities by bringing together publicly funded organisations like councils with major construction firms and subcontractors.
Forthcoming projects through hub East Central Scotland include Dunfermline Learning Campus, which will provide new facilities for Fife College, Monifieth Learning Campus and East End Community Campus, both in Dundee and Tain Campus in the Scottish Highlands. All four have a potential value of over £150,000 each.
