At this year’s Healthcare Estates exhibition, Armitage Shanks will be using a giant petri-dish and UV lighting to showcase the dangers of the bacteria and biofilm that can be found on sanitaryware in clinical washroom environments.
Our experts will be on stand E49 at the Manchester Central venue on 9 and 10 October where they will share insight into the latest methods of infection control in the healthcare sector.
Visitors will be shown a splash demonstration unit, which will highlight the importance of minimising splashing from basins in healthcare premises.
Senior Sector Marketing Manager Tony Rheinberg said: “People visiting our healthcare environments are extremely vulnerable and typically have a low resistance to infection.
“With this in mind, it’s vital that decision-makers responsible for infection control choose bathroom solutions that actively minimise the spread of harmful bacteria across their premises.
“At Healthcare Estates, we’ll be showing attendees first-hand how far bacteria can spread due to splashing in basins with our giant petri-dish and UV lighting.”
Our latest healthcare brassware and ceramics solutions, Markwik 21+ and Contour21+ will also be on show for visitors to experience first-hand.
Both ranges feature innovative additions that allow them to battle bacteria, helping to avoid the spread of waterborne infection.
They are designed to appeal directly to specifiers, contractors, healthcare staff, facilities managers and water management teams alike.
