A full competitor specification was flipped to Ideal Standard thanks to a full team effort and seeing i.life samples in person.
Steads Place in Edinburgh is a development of 110 high quality apartments, part of a regeneration scheme to convert old industrial and office space into a much-needed residential area off the prominent Leith Walk.

Pete Tonge, Key Account Manager – Highrise & Residential, said: “Having first been involved in 2021 where the specification was a full competitor spec, we were able to convert into a full Ideal Standard spec.
“Working closely with Neville Lumb and the contractor, we put forward a full alternative i-life specification which – after seeing the samples provided to site – got the full approval for the order to be placed.”

He added: “We have received the order in the region of £110,000 from Neville Lumb and yet again it was a full team effort to eventually get this over the line, with help from Natalie Buckingham in the non-res team.
“Her relationship with the contractor made the process of changing the spec so much easier so this was an all-round great team performance to take full share against one of our competitors.”

The specification includes i.life vanity basins and units with Ceraflex taps, i.life A back to wall toilets with Conceala cistern and flushplate, as well as I.life baths and Alto EV shower pack.
