The commercial offices in Armitage have been under-used since March 2020 as people have been working from home and we have restricted the number of desks that can be used when people are in.
To help with our plan to get people back into the commercial offices, a deep clean as part of our COVID-19 measures was due to be completed today.
The clean has been carried out by a company called PHS Interclean who were selected over other companies because their specific scope of work after surveying the site was excellent and much more in-depth.
They have covered around 32 hours this week and in each office they have done the following:
• Wiped fixtures and fittings, including door handles, light switches, blind cords and so on
• Deep cleaning of desks, docking stations, keyboards, screens and desk phones
• Texatherm cleaned all floors and any stains removed
• Cleaned desks and chairs
• Cleaned void areas behind or in-between desks
• Cleaned all cabinets
• Cleaned tall units, including the tops
• Deep cleaned all washrooms, kitchen areas and any breakout areas
• Cleaned stairwells, corridors and lift
• Cleaned inside of all windows and sills
• Cleaned skirting boards
The initial feedback is that the clean has made a huge difference although there were few days of disruption for those working in the office.
