Armitage Shanks is now a sponsor of the Birmingham Architectural Association (BAA), the West Midlands chapter of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
The BAA was founded in 1874 to represent people in the local area who have an interest in architecture and is run by a community of people from a selection of practices based in the city.
The aim of the sponsorship is to increase awareness of the brand among these key decision-makers and to enable greater face-to-face contact with them at their seminars and networking events.
The BAA, like all regional RIBA groups, has a keen interest in supporting the professional development of its members and learning about new trends in construction.

Nathan Sanicharane, Sector Marketing Manager for Specification, said: “The BAA is a long-established and highly influential organisation among architects in the UK’s second largest metropolitan area.
“Our sponsorship of the group will enable us to more effectively communicate to members the advantages of specifying Armitage Shanks products in their developments and to leverage our 200-year pedigree as leading edge innovators in many sectors.”
