A Singular specification has been secured in Ireland in a show-stopper project that has earned nationwide media coverage.
1 BQ is a city centre waterfront development in Bishop’s Quay, Limerick, featuring LEED Gold Grade A office accommodation, as well as 34 apartments, a cafe and a retail space.
Led by developer Kirkland Investments, the nine-storey project has featured on Ireland’s national radio station Live95 because of the impact it is expected to have in terms of reviving the city’s waterfront.

The project has a value to our business of €120,000, having been tracked from cradle to grave by Regional Sales Executive for the South John Murphy.
Our Specification Manager Triona McHugh also provided an impressive proposal and excellent LEED information on our products.
Ranges to be installed include i.life toilets, ProSys frames, i.life furniture, Cerafine Black basin mixer taps, Ceratherm Black dual showers. Black Sensorflow E basin mixers and Conca basins for offices.
Installation is being carried out by Brian Healy Contractors and Promech Mechanical for main contractor Conack Construction. The order has been placed through PJ Matthews, one of our key merchant accounts.

John said: “We had this project on our radar for the past two years as it’s on a very prominent location in Limerick City centre, receiving huge media coverage locally as the quays area is developed.
“We secured the win via Healy and Partners Architects in Limerick, putting a singular package together with the help of Triona in our specification department.
“LEED certification featured hugely for the client which we supplied in detail to the architects, offering space saving i.life S wall-mounted WCs in the apartments.
“This is a massive win for Ideal Standard via our key trading partner PJ Matthews, sending a strong statement to our competitors due to the coverage of this project nationwide.
“Team work really did make the dream work on this project and long may it continue.”
